Associate Relations Committee (2001 Co-Chairs, Dale Schmidtz, Vicki Simons)

The chapter has received $22,850 through its sponsorship program, and Vicki Simons reported the committee is already looking forward to a "bigger and better" year for 2002. She thanked all of the sponsors for their support of the chapter and promised some exciting things are in store to both sponsors and members.

Membership Committee (2001 C0-Chairs, Daphne Swayze and Eileen Smith)

Membership Committee (2001 Co-chairs Eileen Smith and Daphne Swayze) - Daphne Swayze leaves the chapter at the end of May for a career opportunity in Raleigh, N.C. Until her chair is filled, Shelly Sensenbrenner and J. D. Flaherty III will assist Smith with the committee.

Smith reported the first New Member Breakfast was a success with seven of the 10 members who joined the chapter during the first quarter attending the event at Panera Bread at Olentangy Plaza. Six other members met with the group to help them become more familiar with the organization and all it has to offer. New Member Breakfasts will be held throughout the year on a quarterly basis. The next is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. July 25 at Panera Bread.

The next regular Membership Meeting will be 12:30 p.m. May 29 at the Olive Garden, on Sawmill Road near I-270.

Community Service Committee (2001 Co-Chairs, Janeen Carson, Mark Haberman)

Golf shirts and golf towels are on sale for the up-coming golf outing in June at the Shamrock Golf Club. While these items will be available at the outing, Haberman suggests now is the time to make your purchase if you want to be properly dressed for the event. (Click here for order form and pictures).

Members may order these items from the web site with cash or checks payable to IFMA, Central Ohio Chapter. Proceeds from the sale of these and other items help support the chapter's Adopt-a-Family program. A description and price of each item follows:

Golf Shirt - a white golf shirt with contrasting collar and cuffs, with an embroidered logo sizes - M, L, XL, 2XL cost - $35.
Golf Towel - white terry velour with a screen-printed logo, cost - $10.
