Program Committee (2001 Co-Chairs, Stephanie Patton, Brittany Hauptman)

Only two openings remain for the 80 available spots for the 13th Annual IFMA Golf Outing, and sponsors have been obtained for all but the 18th hole. The outing is June 21 at Shamrock Golf Club, 4436 Powell Road, with the first foursome scheduled to tee off at 11:30 a.m. The four-person scramble will be played from the white tees. There will be a buffet dinner and drawing for prizes on the patio at the Shamrock when the final foursome completes the course.

For July, the committee is developing a tour of the renovated Resource Marketing Building in Columbus' Arena District. The tour is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. July 11, and reservations, which will be limited, will be required. Additional details on the tour will be posted to the Web pages as they become finalized. Education Committee (2001 Co-Chairs, Ken Mulligan, Rosie Herrick)

The next educational program for IFMA chapter members will be July 24. The one-day seminar will deal with negotiating. Speakers, location and times are being worked out and will be posted to the Web pages soon.

Membership Committee (2001 Chair, Eileen Smith)

Central Ohio Chapter membership now stands at 180 with 135 professional members, 43 associates and two students. This number represents a 76 percent/24 percent ratio for members and associates. Five persons joined the chapter in April, and four became members in May. The names of the new members will be placed on the Web pages each month. The committee's next meeting will be a noon luncheon on June 26 at the Olive Garden at Sawmill Rd. and I-270. The next New Member Breakfast will be at 7:30 a.m. July 24 at Panera Bread at Olentangy Plaza.

Associate Relations (2001 Co-Chairs, Vicki Simons, Dale Schmitz)

A new, pro-active approach is underway to expand the chapter's number of sponsors for 2002. To help accomplish this, the committee is developing a new mailing list for current and potential sponsors. Members who would like to recommend companies for sponsorship need to send the company's name and contact person as well as their own name, phone number, fax and e-mail address by e-mail to Debbie McCreary, chapter administration, at dmccreary@iwaynet.net, with a copy to Vicki Simons at vsimons@nbbj.com. The information also may be mailed to Simons at NBBJ, 15555 Lake Shore Dr., Columbus, 43204. The information is needed immediately as the committee expects to develop its list by August. Also, a social event is being planned for fall for chapter sponsors. Details concerning date, time, and location will be announced as they are finalized

Community Service Committee (2001 Co-Chairs, Janeen Carson, Mark Haberman)

Golf shirts, golf towels and sweatshirts with the IFMA logo will again be on sale at the 13th Annual Golf Outing at Shamrock Golf Club on June 21. (Click here for order form and pictures).Proceeds from the sale of these items help support the chapter's Adopt-a-Family program.
