The committee has added four sponsors since the President’s Dinner last month when those supporting the chapter in the coming year are traditionally announce.  The latest sponsors are:  Facilitator Level, Designed Moves, Inc.; Manager Level, Hawa Inc., and Kimball Office; and Associate Level, Armstrong World Industries.  This brings the total sponsorship to 35 with $15,150 in dollars pledged.

Sponsorship categories are:

INITIATOR LEVEL--Annual Investment:  $1,000

FACILITATOR LEVEL--Annual Investment: $500

MANAGER LEVEL--Annual Investment: $250

ASSOCIATE LEVEL--Annual Investment: $100

Committee Report
Community Service

Janeen Carson, Joyce Cavin, and Mark Haberman, co-chairs

The Community Service Committee is completing its holiday shopping for the families the chapter is supporting this Christmas.  There are two families, both with single parents.  One is a father whose wife passed away recently, leaving him with seven children ranging from 2 to 15 years of age.  The other is a mother with three young children.  These same families received Thanksgiving dinners thanks to the generosity of chapter members and friends of the chapter.

The committee’s annual gift distribution will be December 22.  Anyone interested in helping with this is asked to be at Chemical Abstracts Service by 2:30 p.m.  Funds to support this endeavor come from the annual raffles at the President’s Dinner and the golf outing.  The chapter also received a $1,000 donation from the Citizen-Journal Adopt-A-Family Fund.

Committee Report

James M. Houk, certified planner, registered landscape architect, and principle of Bird Houk Collaborative, and Gregory R. Krobot, horticulturist, registered landscape architect, and associate with Bird Houk, will present the program.
