Committee Report
Membership

Eileen Smith and Shelly Sensenbrenner Co-Chairs

The Membership Committee is urging "professional" members of the Central Ohio IFMA Chapter not to miss out on the opportunity to put "$100 cold hard cash" in their pockets this summer.

That's the amount two lucky professional members will win when the chapter's membership drive ends June 30.  To be eligible, all you need to do is refer the names and contact information of potential professional members to Eileen Smith at Eileen.smith@verizonwireless.com, or Shelly Sensenbrenner at sensens@nationwide.com.   Members do not need to contact those whose names are submitted.  Smith and Sensenbrenner will handle this chore to determine interest and eligibility.

With each submission of a potential new member's name and contact information, the name of the submitting member will be entered into a drawing for one of the two $100 prizes.  The more names an individual submits, the better his or her chances of winning.

Smith and Sensenbrenner said the "goal of the membership drive is to find energetic new members who will enjoy and participate in chapter activities and contribute their talents to our organization."

Committee Report
Associate Relations

Vickie Simons and Linda Myers Co-Chairs

The Associate Relations Committee is nearing its goal of $20,000 in sponsorships for the year by recently adding Boise Workspace at the Facilitator level.  Boise Workspace at 133 Boltonfield St. is a multinational office furniture dealer.  This brings the total from sponsorships to $17,450, and gives the chapter six Initiator level sponsors, 16 Facilitators, 11 Managers, and seven Associates.

Vickie Simons also reported that Jennifer Jarrett, senior property administrator with US Bank has joined the committee, and that the committee will participate with the Membership Committee in its New Member Breakfasts.

Committee Report
Education

Ken Mulligan and Tom Logsdon Co-Chairs

The Education Committee is putting the "finishing touches" on the study cessions for facility manager certification (CFM).  The first study session will be at 5:30 p.m. April 16 at a location to be determined, according to Ken Mulligan.  The topic of the first session will be Project Management.

Subsequent study sessions will be held on the third Wednesday of each month at times and locations to be determined.  Mulligan said 16 to 18 members are expected to participate in the sessions.  Anyone wishing to attend should contact Mulligan at Kmulligan@cmjets.com.
