Mark your calendars NOW for important Chapter events scheduled for May and June.  On May 8 Chapter members will have an opportunity to tour Ohio Stadium, one of the most recognizable landmarks in all of athletics, now in its 80th year as the home of Ohio State University football.   The tour is expected to begin at 5:30 p.m., and reservations will be required at a later date.

Built in 1922, "The Horseshoe" has undergone an extensive three-year renovation, preservation, and expansion project to ensure its longevity for years to come.  Total cost of the renovation project was $187 million. Nearly 80 percent of that figure was covered by the sale of the 82 hospitality suites and the 2,500 club seats on the west side of the stadium. Naming sights gifts and revenue generated from increased ticket sales and concession income is expected to cover the remaining 20 percent. No tax dollars or state or university money was used.

The June event is the 14th Annual IFMA golf outing at Shamrock Golf Course, 4436 Powell Rd.  There will be a four-person scramble, buffet dinner, and drawing for prizes on the patio at the Shamrock when the after the last foursome completes the course.  More details on this event will be available in the coming weeks.
