Tom Logsdon, former president of the Central Ohio IFMA Chapter, will speak to the chapter’s CFM Study Group Wednesday, June 21, at 6 p.m. at the Columbus Trane Facility, 2300CityGate Dr.
James Schmelzer, CFM/FMP co-chair, said Logsdon’s topic will be real estate competency. Logsdon is with NAI Ohio Equities, LLC.

Did you see the Saturday, June 17, edition of The Columbus Dispatch? There it was in the paper’s business section—C8—an announcement of the June 21 chapter event at the Fawcett Center. While this probably isn’t the first ever newspaper announcement of a chapter event, this is a first for the Public Relations Committee that is working hard to bring more attention to the chapter both externally and internally.
Several other paths are being explored by the committee as it continues its efforts to make companies and facility managers aware of the many benefits of becoming a member or sponsor of the Central Ohio IFMA Chapter. You’ll see other results of the committee’s efforts before long.
